The 'stat' counter and the comments on my blog let me know which posts you like (the silly ones, the ones with questions etc.) and the ones you don't (the serious and the political ones).
So when I began to feel the rising passion of the 2008 Presidential Election, I realised McCullochblog was not the place for me to rant about the fundraising prowess of Mitt Romney or the vacuous coverage of the issues by the US media.
So...what to do? Well, there was only one thing for it. Like Frazier born of Cheers, Doctor Phil launched by Oprah and now Private Practice from Gray's Anatomy, I knew it was time for a spin-off.
And so here it is: Electionography, my gift of swiftly-gained knowledge, half-baked analysis and agenda-free (I can't vote) critique of the candidates, issues and reporting of the American Presidential election candidates.
Feel free to ignore it entirely hereafter, unless of course, you'd like a little help deciding who to vote for next November!
So that's what you've been doing while unsupervised!

Two points:
1. The fact that no one comments on an entry doesn't mean we don't like it. I think your calculations are based on a faulty premise.
2. You didn't take that nap, did you?

Fair point, Dushka...there are many of your/other people's blogs that I like and don't comment on. It's a bit like seeing a man wearing a nice suit in the street. You don't necessarily tell him "Hey, nice suit!", but inwardly, you are happy to have set yourself a new standard for personal attire.

A new wife, a new house...and two blogs? You have way to much time on your hands!

Three blogs, actually. You're forgetting I blog for work too!
